1. Log in to Tableau with the following credentials:
 * **User**: user1
 * **Password**: write-back-demo
 
2. Choose your use case and navigate to the dashboard where Write-Back is embedded. Use the same credentials to access and interact with the Write-Back.

The Nightingale chart is a circular visualisation designed to highlight the relative magnitude of categories, using radial segments whose length is proportional to the measured value. It is especially effective for comparing distributions across categories.

This enhanced version supports a &quot;card mode&quot; that subdivides each segment into overlapping blocks grouped by dimension. This allows deeper exploration of how each category is composed internally. The classic radial display remains available for simpler overviews.

Labels are automatically hidden when overlapping occurs to maintain readability. Tableau tooltips are always available for exploring values. The card display is only triggered when dimensions are placed in the Detail shelf of the mark configuration.

# **Visualises Relative Variations**
Each radial segment represents a category, with its angular width consistent and its radius proportional to the aggregated measure. In ‘card mode’, these segments are further divided into visually distinct blocks that reflect grouped dimension values. This allows analysts to understand internal variations and composition within each category, while still enabling cross-category comparisons.


# **Enhances Interpretation**

Colour is used strategically to differentiate groups or series, with overlapping card stacks providing a compact and insightful layout. The card representation draws attention to fine-grained differences without losing sight of the global structure. For standard analyses, the traditional mode remains effective for emphasising major differences in magnitude.

## Set up the workbook

The workbook contains localised worksheets and dashboards, but data isn't available until you sign in to your Tableau Cloud site. To set up and connect the workbook to your site data, follow these steps:

1. Download the **Admin Insights Starter** accelerator.
2. Open the workbook (`Admin_Starter.twbx`) in Tableau Desktop.
3. When prompted, sign in to Tableau Cloud as a site administrator.

After signing in, you can continue to use the Starter workbook locally or publish it to your site to collaborate with other administrators and authorised users. We recommend publishing the workbook to the Admin Insights project in Tableau Cloud.

With its intuitive dashboards, administrators can monitor key metrics and identify trends, enabling them to make data-driven decisions.

Use the Starter workbook as-is, or customise it to create more detailed dashboards and workbooks that address the unique questions of your organisation. ## Set up the workbook

The workbook contains localised worksheets and dashboards, but data isn't available until you sign in to your Tableau Cloud site. To set up and connect the workbook to your site data, follow these steps:

1. Download the **Admin Insights Starter** accelerator.
2. Open the workbook (`Admin_Starter-en_GB.twbx`) in Tableau Desktop.
3. When prompted, sign in to Tableau Cloud as a site administrator.

After signing in, you can continue to use the Starter workbook locally or publish it to your site to collaborate with other administrators and authorised users. We recommend publishing the workbook to the Admin Insights project in Tableau Cloud.
