Eloqua (JDBC)

The Oracle Eloqua Connector provides access to your marketing campaign data and customer engagement insights stored in Oracle Eloqua. Direct connectivity to your marketing automation platform enables analysis of campaign performance, lead generation and customer journey metrics. Transform your marketing data into actionable insights to optimise campaigns and accelerate business growth.

1. Download the Connector file (.taco).
2. Move the .taco file here:
   • Windows: C:\Users[Windows User]\Documents\My Tableau Repository\Connectors
   • macOS: /Users/[user]/Documents/My Tableau Repository/Connectors
   • Server Windows: C:\Program Files\Tableau\Connectors
   • Server Linux: /opt/tableau/connectors
3. Install the JDBC Driver
   • Go to the Driver Download link
   • Download the JDBC .jar file and move into the following directory:
     • Windows - C:\Program Files\Tableau\Drivers
     • macOS - /Users/[user]/Library/Tableau/Drivers
     • Linux: /opt/tableau/tableau_driver/jdbc
4. Launch Tableau Desktop (2022.3 and later)
5. Go to Connect → To a Server and select Eloqua (JDBC)

Note: There are no licensing fees when you use the CData driver with the Eloqua (JDBC) Tableau Connector. However, if you use the CData driver with the Tableau Other Databases (ODBC) connector or outside of Tableau, licensing fees will apply.
