Marketo (JDBC)

The Marketo Connector provides access to your marketing automation data and lead management insights stored in Adobe Marketo Engage. Direct connectivity to your marketing platform enables analysis of campaign effectiveness, lead scoring and customer acquisition metrics. Transform your marketing data into actionable insights to optimise lead nurturing and drive revenue growth.

1. Download the Connector file (.taco).
2. Move the .taco file here:
   • Windows: C:\Users[Windows User]\Documents\My Tableau Repository\Connectors
   • macOS: /Users/[user]/Documents/My Tableau Repository/Connectors
   • Server Windows: C:\Program Files\Tableau\Connectors
   • Server Linux: /opt/tableau/connectors
3. Install the JDBC Driver
   • Go to the Driver Download link
   • Download the JDBC .jar file and move into the following directory:
     • Windows - C:\Program Files\Tableau\Drivers
     • macOS - /Users/[user]/Library/Tableau/Drivers
     • Linux: /opt/tableau/tableau_driver/jdbc
4. Launch Tableau Desktop (2022.3 and later)
5. Go to Connect → To a Server and select Marketo (JDBC)

Note: There are no licensing fees when you use the CData driver with the Marketo (JDBC) Tableau Connector. However, if you use the CData driver with the Tableau Other Databases (ODBC) connector or outside of Tableau, licensing fees will apply.
