Dimensions & Metrics Explorer is a flexible analysis visual that makes it easy to mix and match dimensions and metrics much faster than rebuilding native Tableau charts. You can provide multiple dimensions and multiple metrics from your dataset, then select at any time which ones to display as your primary breakdown, secondary breakdown, and KPI(s). Instantly switch between visualization types to adapt the view to your question. Optionally, you can define comparisons (segments or time periods) to generate variation views (absolute change and percentage change) and understand what drives performance differences.
