Sankey Diagrams are useful for displaying the distribution of entities between two or more stages, placing emphasis on major transfers within a system and locating dominant contributions to the overall flow.

Typical use-cases involve analysis of insurance claims, mortgage books, customer journeys, product acquisitions and more.
