Chord Diagram

Chord Diagram is ideal for many-to-many relationships. It places groups around a circle and connects them with ribbons sized by interaction strength, making directional or bilateral connections easier to compare.

Chord Diagram works well for trade flows, interaction volumes, migration paths, communication analysis and dependency mapping where compact relationship views are needed.

Key features

• Configure node colouring (colourised vs one colour) and link colouring (one colour vs colourised).
• Colour links by source or target when using colourised link mode.
• Control layout readability with arc distance, node width and label offset.
• Toggle axis and dimension labels, including axis step size.
• Fine-tune appearance with node/link opacity, border width/opacity and custom text/axis colours.
• Separate tooltip templates for group (node) and link context.
